one of the true cosmic classics as last post for the year 2009. eddy trauba & m.m. greco's 'maccaroni radio' which still gets played as instrumental by the legend danielle baldelli at a very slow bpm. riccardo cioni produced this cool italo track in 1983 and the italian disco label master dee jay released it. 'maccaroni radio' is also featured on two essential mixes, one by flemming dalum which is called 'the amazing run in the tube' and on danielle baldelli's mix compilatation 'cosmic - the original'. zzzzzzzh, oh my god no, the maccaroni's on my cooker boil over, have a nice start in the new year 2010 and the best wishes from frwctrl !

our christmas present for you. g a n g - kkk an absolute sought after italo classic. the most of you know the club mix of this record but in my opinion the b-side contain the better dub mix with the cool vocal snippet and the cheesy soft piano part in the middle, for more listening pleasure. giorgio dolce and giorgio giordano produced this track somewhere in 1983. 'kkk' was released on recordbreaker and zyx. both copys are very very expensive and hard to get, i have the bliss to have one original zyx copy which is more rarely and sounds better then the copy on recordbreaker. g a n g also made one of my italo favorites 'incantations' which is a mix between two mike oldfield cosmic classics 'foreigen affair' and 'incantations', check. ok, have fun with your present and a nice christmas time, ciao ciao christian.

'frequencywithoutcontrol' this saturday 19.12. at ostbahnhof frankfurt. what a fortune i found the right track for this evening in my collection, der bahnhof by disco projekt. no one knows who is behind disco projekt or after the producer disco center, never mind it is a cool slow mo tune. slow mo? not at the the right '45 rpm' you have to play this track at '33rpm' and it will be convert to a killer steady electro/italo track. now you know where to go slowly '33rpm' or fast '45 rpm' on saturday night!

many many good tracks fall into 'oblivion' such as this one. dark new wave\synth pop from italy by the electronic duo monuments. they consists of the two unknown men andrea costa and mauro tavella. 'oblivion' is taken from the very very rare mini album 'age' from 1984 which also consist tracks like 'herz von samt' and 'geisteskrankheit', strange. alright it is enough for today i had less sleep tonight because michael and i played yesterday night at 'p11' heidelberg with the cool guys from 'steady work by dear friends'. ciao ciao till next days!

anouschka renzi - robot love

this is a joke but not the worst. german italo disco by anouschka renzi, a lifted middle class german actress and in the late 80s a one hit wonder. many people who had nothing to do with music try to make italo and other dance music back in the 80s like anouschka. the most tracks are real shit but 'robot love' pass through the mass. it is a dark italo hi energy track for the prime time. the guy who was accountable for this, oh my god what a name, is django seelenmeyer who got famous 1985 with the absolute horrible hit 'tuut tuut'. chic a parent label of teldec released 1988 anouschka's 'robot love'. after 'robot love' anouschka apply to her actress career so it was her last record, goodbye!

ranko - happy world

this track could be one of my italo faves unless the ultra cheesy refrain. ok time for an new edit! i start last week but i am not finished now because to many other things to do. i think over christmas i have enough time to complete the edit. for all who can not wait here we have the original version. so go on and make your own special edit. finally some short facts about this track. produced by nino nicolosi and roberto gasparini and arragend by his brother pino nicolosi and franco tripodi anytime in 1984 and released on the italian label merak music. the nicolosi brothers are also responsible for such hits like 'the voyagers - distant planet', 'valerie dore - get closer' and many more. so hey, try to make a happy world!

next italo goody for our blog. i got very happy if flemming send me this cool edit. it is from flexx, you all know their tracks 'love them from flexxy-ball' and 'theme from deep' but 'carry on' was never released on 12inch - only on a CGD soundtrack from an italian movie. the original version is only 2:40 minutes long with some annoying scratch parts etc. - so flemming thought it was time to do a little italo edit again and the result is one more of flemming's great edits. enjoy, like i do!

i am back from hamburg and i had a very nice weekend. here is the perfect track for a big walk by the 'alster' on a melancholic harvest sunny sunday or a perfect set starter on friday night. blue night - turn me loose a brilliant italo track on cat records from 1983. there are two famous men behind this track: douglas meakin one of the most active session vocalist between the 70s and the 80s in italy (crazy gang, easy going, traks...) and paul micioni a producer/dj who can boast ofer 10.000.00 record sold all over the world with acts like gazebo, traks, trilogy... . now you can choose perfect set starter or a song for dreaming, i think both!

real cheesy and real cheap but very cool! modern talking's hit 'you can win if you want to' in italian language, by the unknown singer piero ipazio. my friend claudio from 12zoll found this trashy record for 1 euro at a record sale last month. i found in the same box one original copy from angela werner's maxi - fantasy for also 1 euro, thats luck! (one of these impossible to get records and a big mancuso hit at the loft, sale for 250 Dollar and more). get back to piero, we like it and at our next disco fox dj-gig it is in our heavy rotation, keep on smiling!

since many years this nice sleazy italo track was standing in my collection and i totally forget it. yesterday when i'm hearing to some of my records i newly discovered this cool italo song with its exceptional vocals (nice instrumental for more party feel on the b-side). produced in 1983 by ruler and released on trash records one of the parent labels of discomagic. next time when i'm DJing this record is in my case, surely!

last night at tropic rhonda was like a big huge hurricane. we had so much fun with this cool italo hits. here is one of my prime time bombs from yesterday night, a cool cheesy late 80's italo/euro disco track. it is from the german guy manfred alois segieth alias fancy alias the hurricanes. produced in 1988 by tess one more synonym of fancy and released on the outstanding label zyx. sure shot and party guaranteed !

this cool disco number was produced by billy nichlos (member of b.t. express) and mel sheppard. released 1980 on the cool italian laben mr.disc organization (parent label of full time records).

robert schroeder - galactic floor

is this track really from 1984 ?. yes it is, unbelievable it sounds so fresh like an cucumber mask in your face. it was produced by the german electronic artist robert schroeder. klaus schulze found and raised robert in 1979 and since that time robert made many solo albums even one reached in 1988 the us-charts. ok lets come back to galactic floor, this hidden gem was released on the superb label racket records (also released manuel göttschings - e2-e4 and richard wahnfrieds - time actor) in 1984. ok thats enough my cucumber mask getting wishy-washy.

i am back from greece and i am so relaxed. here is the perfect track to let the holiday continue at home. a love of your own originally performed by the average withe band, so ned made a collaboration with hamish stuart for this cool easy song. realeased 1976 on the beautiful album hard candy which also contain the big hit get it up for love which is a big dj harvey fave. hang loose!

sorry for less posting but finally the summer is here and i am watching the whole day to the sexy girls in the city and in the evening to some sexy films. ok, sexy films is a killer italo masterpiece by kroma. kroma mmmh, i can`t find something about kroma but the executive producer of this track was claudio casalini the chairman of the famous italian label best records (many good releases, acts like gazebo, traks, electra...). sexy films was released 1984 on jumbo records a sub label of best records, aaahhh. it is your turn try, to find one copy , it is hard but you can also watch some sexy films, there are many cheap good ones.

'zanzibar' the capital of tanzania and also a very famous bar for the high society and swells on the german island sylt (sansibar) but that's not all it is a very cool italo song too. released 1985 on the superb discomagic label and 2009 still hot.
